I can fly…

A pod of Pacific White-sided dolphins fill the bay as they feed actively, slicing through the bay with swift, coordinated movements. Amid the flurry, once in a while, one decides to rocket into the air, its body arcing high above the surface. Sunlight catches its silvery flanks as it twists mid-leap, droplets trailing like glitter in its wake. For most of the day the Bay was frantic with dolphins chasing small fish and leaping joyfully into the air. It’s a rare honor to experience these amazing animals in their natural environment. A vivid snapshot of life in motion, wild and free.
