Teasing the dog.

Herons and dogs have an interesting relationship. Dogs can’t help but chase herons if they are on the dock but the herons know that dogs are an annoyance not a threat. This heron left the dock when we pulled in but only went as far a necessary to be safe. As soon as we were making our way up the ramp he was back on the dock chasing fish.
